Pic n Mix

Also known as the three gossips - I love this mixed breed flock that our local sheep farmer has.  I am slowly learning about the different breeds - such as Cheviot, Herdwick and Teeswater ...   I imagine those Herdie ladies with the white faces having quite a gossip over the state of the Teeswater's fleeces!  The Cheviots just sit, chew and not quietly.

This is watercolour, charcoal and oil pastel as I like to just grab what is handy to capture those intelligent looking expressions.  Mounted and framed in a soft green textured wood frame that adds to the rustic charm.
